Winter Park is located in Grand County, in the US state of Colorado. The resort lies at an altitude of 2,765 m and appears pleasantly natural. Considered the “local mountain for Denver’s skiers”, Winter Park is situated only approx. 110 km from Colorado’s capital city. With an average yearly amount of snow reaching over 8 metres, this region is a popular winter sports destination.
