Ski area Diedamskopf

The 3 Valleys Pass gives you access to over 360 kilometres of piste in a total of 31 ski areas (see ski region). The nearby Diedamskopf ski area offers a total of 40 varied kilometres of piste. It is the ski area with the highest mountain station in the Bregenzerwald (2,060 metres). Due to the predominantly easy to moderately difficult pistes, the ski area is particularly popular with families. The 300 m² adventure land for children aged 3 to 8 rounds off the family offer.

But sporty skiers won't miss out either: the 10 km descent to the valley at Diedamskopf, which covers 1,200 metres in altitude, is particularly worthwhile for them. There is also a great freeride area and the Diedamspark snowpark, where freestylers can put their skills to the test on rails, boxes, kickers and much more! Another highlight is the night skiing and night tobogganing on the Grunholz lift, which takes place twice a week.

If you want to take a break, the best place to enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery and the fantastic panorama is on the sun terraces of the restaurants.

Night skiing Diedamskopf

Winter sports enthusiasts who spend their skiing holiday in the Bregenz Forest in Au-Schoppernau and can't get enough of skiing and snowboarding are drawn to Au in the evening hours. The Grunholz t-bar lift on the outskirts of the village serves an 800-metre-long piste, which is floodlit twice a week for the popular night skiing. On Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., skiing fun takes place at night on the family slope. In addition to skiing, night tobogganing is also possible on the gently sloping descent. Toboggans can be hired on site. After skiing and tobogganing, the cosy "Lifthüsle" at the bottom of the piste invites you to enjoy mulled wine and Jagertee. If the snow conditions are right, night skiing takes place every week from December to March.

Après ski Diedamskopf

Numerous inns with large sun terraces and snow bars are waiting to be discovered in the ski area. But things continue in the valley even after the descent: the "Ski-Inn" pub is the place to go for party-loving skiers and snowboarders, with live bands performing here on Saturdays. If you want a quieter end to the evening, there are numerous restaurants waiting to spoil you with regional or international specialities.

For those who like to be sporty in the evening, there are two natural toboggan runs to choose from - a shorter one for families with small children and a 5 km long one - as well as ice skating, horse or dog sledding and hiking. A total of around 40 km of winter hiking trails are groomed and marked in Au. Tours to the surrounding mountain huts are particularly popular.
