Location and facilities
The comfortable Hotel Bärenhof is located wonderfully on the mountain, approx. 350 m away from the "Stubnerkohelbahn" gondola and in immediate proximity to the thermal baths (approx. 200 m). The resort centre of Bad Gastein is about 400 m away.< br/>< br/>The hotel's facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi (in the lobby), lounge with bar, common room, lifts, dining room, reading room as well as a ski and ski boot room. Parking spaces can be used free of charge (depending on availability).The spacious spa area (approx. 400 m²) offers a panoramic indoor pool (open from 8:00-22:00), steam bath, Finnish sauna, organic sauna, infrared cabin, Kneipp foot basin and relaxation room with heated water beds (sauna area: open from 15:00-22:00). Massages, as well as medical and peat pulp therapies, can be booked and paid for locally.
In resort, you will receive a 5% discount for Restaurant Winkler in Bad Hofgastein, as well as a €10 discount (cannot be exchanged for cash) for massage and therapy treatments at "Kur- & Sporthotel Winkler" in Bad Hofgastein (subject to change, limited opening hours, prior reservation required, only upon display of voucher, received with your travel documents).

Important notes
- Access to the sauna area is permitted to children aged 14 and over and only when accompanied by an adult.
- Families with children can use the spa area from 15:00-19:00 (as per info in resort).
- Mondays are reserved for women's sauna day (15:00-19:00).
- Children born in and after 2014 can use the lifts in the Gastein Valley for free. Should your child be using the lifts independently in the other ski areas of the Ski amadé, a mini card (lift pass) may need to be purchased in resort.
