Bregenzerwald
The Bregenzerwald is located between Lake Constance and the Arlberg in the far west of Austria. The northern part of the region is hilly, towards the south the valley becomes narrower and the mountains rise more steeply. The Bregenzerwald has been strongly influenced by its Swabian and Swiss neighbours and old traditions are still upheld today. A good example of this is the "Cheese Route", an association of farmers, innkeepers, craftsmen and commercial enterprises dedicated to traditional cheese production. So don't miss out on trying the "Bregenzerwald mountain cheese". The region is also renowned for its guaranteed snow: Enjoy over 506 kilometres of pistes and the beautiful panorama of the Bregenzerwald!Travel Riefensberg
