Ski area Thalerhöhe
Three further tow lifts are available a the ski area Overwilhams. 3 km of piste available here for practising some swings the snow. On the sunny lift Aigis, there is one kilometre of piste and a beginner slope with a tow rope. The Stixner ski lift enables access to the only "permanent race mountain in the Allgäu", which also a more challenging run at the same time. Two ski schools in resort help kids and beginner get the hang of the unusual feeling of standing on skis and snowboard.
Night skiing Missen-Wilhams
If you still haven't had enough of skiing during the day, you can continue to let off steam on the piste in the Thalerhöhe ski area on Friday evenings, even after dark. From 18:00 to 21:00, the ski area is transformed into a night skiing area and winter sports enthusiasts of all ages can test their skills on around 600 metres of slopes under floodlights. All night skiers can choose between the tariff for a taster lesson or for the whole evening. This allows you to try out skiing at night for the first time. If you prefer to spend the afternoon in the fresh air, you can go tobogganing (or "Schlitteln" as it is called there). Two toboggan slopes are ready to be tried out. In the valley or also on the Hauchenberg there are some wonderful winter hiking trails available, which can also be explored on a snowshoe hike. The local tourism association also organises romantic torch hikes.
