Ski area Plan de Corones
Beginners, occasional skiers and returning skiers can enjoy a wide selection of blue and red slopes in the Plan de Corones ski area. The family-friendly ski area has a Family Fun Line and the "Croni-Express", which was built especially for children and families. In the "Croniworld", parents can watch their little ones make their first turns while enjoying the breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the surrounding mountains.
Those looking for the ultimate thrill will find it at Plan de Corones with the "Black Five". The five black pistes Sylvester, Herrnegg, Pre da Peres, Erta and Piculin challenge even the most experienced skiers. Freestylers can let off steam on lines, rails and kickers in the Snowpark Kronplatz.
Free Wi-Fi hotspots can be found at numerous lift pass sales points in the ski area.
Fancy even more fun on the pistes? Then upgrading your lift pass to the "Dolomiti Superskipass" is a good idea. 12 ski areas and 1,200 kilometres of pistes are accessed by 450 ski lifts and open up unimagined possibilities for all enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders.
Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.Après ski Plan de Corones
If you like tobogganing, you will find a rental shop and toboggan run at the Aschtalm in St. Magdalena. Horse-drawn sleigh rides and winter rides are also a great experience. During these rides, you can marvel at the snow-covered winter landscape!
The experiences of the day are best reviewed over a South Tyrolean delicacy. The alpine pastures of St. Magdalena, such as the Aschtalm, the Kaser Alm, the Kradorfer Alm and the Messnerhütte impress with their cosy atmospheres.
